My research focus is on China's globalization in the context of Chinese migration, diaspora politics, Chinese foreign policy particularly in relation to Europe, and Chinese diplomacy on social media.

Teaching

I teach Chinese societal affairs, politics, media, and intercultural competencies. I am particularly interested in developing and applying digital methods in my teaching, as well as instructing on the utilization of digital research tools.
