Experimental planetology; focussing on the surface interactions of planetary bodies and with the use of a laboratory simulation facility; The Planetary Environment Facility.
Commissioned
As manager for an approved ESA Ground Based Facility one of my activities is to advise industrial partners and/or space agencies on Mars/Moon exploration issues
Cooperation and dissemination
The Planetary Environment Laboratory is involved in several international research collaborations/networks including the European planetology network EUROPLANET. Other collaborations involve volcanology, meteorology and space exploration.
Teaching
Students at all levels may have access to the Planteray Environment Laboratory for space related projects (Danish and international).
