Graduated with a Master of Science in Medicine with Industrial Specialization (Cand.scient.med.) from Aalborg University in 2015 and obtained a PhD in 2019 from Aarhus University. Throughout my research career, I have worked with both basic research and epidemiological research in the field of functional somatic disorder and functional somatic syndromes.
Chair of the working group for the national clinical database for functional somatic disorder, FuncData, as well as chair of the Research Committee of the Danish Society for Functional Disorders. Member of EURONET-SOMA (The European Research Network to Improve Diagnosis, Treatment and Health Care for Patients with Persistent Somatic Symptoms).
Special consultant and daily manager of the Danish Problem Gambling Committee at the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aarhus University.
