I am currently the Corresponding PI of DEEP PURPLE, an ERC Synergy Grant (856416) : Essential field and laboratory measurements of critical physical and microbial processes which darken the Greenland Ice Sheet and accelerate sea level rise, along with my co-PIs A. M. B. Anesio (AU) and L. G. Benning (GFZ, Potsdam). Our award runs from 2020-25, and is worth €11.007.344.

Teaching

I am running a two day course on writing research papers for Ph.D students/Early Career Scientists in Copenhagen on October 21st and 22nd with Tim Vogel, University of Lyon.

I will be running a half day session on wiriting grant applications for  Ph.D students/Early Career Scientists in Risø during early December.
