Personal profile

Research

Most of my research is in the the intersection between public administration and political science. Recently, I have been doing research on administrative burden, citizen-state interactions, performance mangagement, urban and local governance and politics, and the relationship between politicians and non-elected public officials. Other areas of interests are democratic elections and elite decision-making.

Teaching

Jeg am an experienced lecturer, teacher of smaller classes, supervisor and censor at both the BA-, MA-, and PhD-levels. I primarily supervise theses within the following broad themes:

Public administration, performance management, administrative burden, citizen satisfaction, elite decision-making, local politics and administration, experimental methods, street level bureaucracy, representative bureaucracy, co-production.
