PhD project on rehabilitation and treatment outcomes after revision total hip arthroplasty with focus on patient experiences, optimization of rehabilitation interventions, and opioid use.

Cooperation and dissemination

In The Strong Hip Trial, we investigate the effect of a rehabilitation intervention focused on hip strength compared to standard municipal rehabilitation in patients undergoing revision total hip arthroplasty. The study is conducted in collaboration with eight Danish hospitals - Aarhus and Odense University Hospitals, the Regional Hospitals of Gødstrup, Silkeborg, and Viborg, as well as Vejle, Gentofte and Bispebjerg Hospitals - along with the associated municipal rehabilitation centers.

Co-teacher for the PhD course Basic Biostatistics Part 1 and 2 at Aarhus University (2023–2024).
Co-supervisor for MSc students.
