Personal profile

Research

Professor (with special responsibilities) within mechanistic modelling of marine ecosystems. More than 20 years experience with modelling of Danish coastal and fjord systems, the North Sea-Baltic Sea, Greenland coastal areas, and Zanzibar. The models are e.g., applied to study future impacts on marine ecosystems from pressures and find potential solutions. The topics are e.g., offshore wind, eutrophication. harmful substances, climate change, and nature restoration defined in different management scenarios.
