Research areas and methods

Research areas: Third wave cognitive therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, compassion-focused therapy, mediators of third wave cognitive therapy, adult attachment, grief reactions, bereavement in adulthood, chronic pain, psychosocial cancer research, psychological reactions to somatic disease. Research methods: the Multiphase Optimization Strategy (MOST), randomized controlled trials, meta-analytic evaluations, cohort studies, health economic evaluation (i.e., cost-effectiveness).
