Personal profile

Profile

I am an assistant professor in educational science at Aarhus University, where I teach courses related to, among other things, Theories of Learning, Qualitative Methods, and Sustainability. I hold a Master’s degree and a PhD in Anthropology from the Department of Anthropology at the University of Copenhagen. My doctoral research examined the economic, moral, and political value of craftwork in contemporary Denmark. Based on long-term ethnographic fieldwork in a medium-sized Danish building cooperative, my dissertation explored the training of apprentices, emerging debates around sustainable construction techniques and materials, and issues of diversity in the skilled trades - particularly gender-related challenges. The research from my dissertation has been expanded into a book manuscript, which is under contract with Berghahn Books.
