Background
Luiza Karpavicius is a PhD Fellow in the Department of Environmental Science (Section for Environmental Social Science) at Aarhus University. She is a Msc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and a Bsc in Economic Science from the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
PhD Project
In her PhD project, she is studying cost-efficient policy instruments for carbon sequestration. Specifically, the study focuses on the transaction costs in forestry and agriculture policies.
Research Interests
Luiza is interested in environmental and natural resource economics, climate economics and applied microeconometrics. In particular, she has experience in public policy analysis.
