Personal profile

Research

In my work as Administrative coordinator at Agricultural Biodiversity (ABD) and Center administrator at the Social-Ecological Systems Simulation (SESS) Centre, I  undertake administrative tasks and support national and EU research projects about environmental stressors that impact wild species, beekeeping, and crop production.

Profile

I am specialised in research support and administration that assist research and activities at Department of Agroecology and Section for Agricultural Biodiversity. I am eager to put my experiences to use in a way that contributes to research aiming to better understand and manage natural and environmental conditions.

Cooperation and dissemination

In my role, I manage a wide range of tasks in collaboration with various groups and departments across Aarhus University.

I contribute to knowledge sharing and cross-organisational coordination within the Department of Agroecology (AGRO), working with the AGRO Secretariat (STAB), and specifically with the ABD section, where I collaborate closely with the section head and staff.

I also act as a liaison between researchers, the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), the Research Support Office (RSO), and project controllers in connection with project applications and funded projects.

I serve as a contact point for communication with external partners, both in Denmark and abroad, related to projects and scientific events.

Job responsibilities

Section for Agricultural Biodiversity (ABD)
Through transdisciplinary research, innovation, and education, we focus on enhancing the resilience of agro-ecosystems. Through collaborative efforts, working with practitioners to policymakers, we aim to develop and implement evidence-based strategies that support sustainable agricultural practices, protect ecosystems, and benefit local communities, farmers, and global food systems.

The Social-Ecological Systems Simulation (SESS) Centre
The SESS Centre aims to facilitate systems understanding and decision-making. SESS focuses on the development of simulation as a tool to explore the implications of management decisions on the environmental, societal and economic aspects of managed systems.

We work with complex software simulations, GIS, agricultural systems and weather data, and have ALMaSS species models for insects, bird, and mammals, as well as people.
