Profile

As Centre Administrator at the MR Research Centre, I am responsible for the administrative coordination of the Centre’s daily operations and act as a liaison between management, researchers, administrative units at Aarhus University (AU) and Aarhus University Hospital (AUH), as well as external collaborators.
I work to promote a positive working environment and effective collaboration, both in the Centre’s day-to-day activities and through my role as union representative at the Department of Clinical Medicine. I strive to strengthen social and professional relations and approach my tasks clearly and intentionally. Written communication, clarity, and transparency are core values in my work.

Job responsibilities

My responsibilities include financial management of research grants, budget planning, and administrative processing of national and international funding. I work purposefully with fundraising in close collaboration with the Centre’s leadership and our partners.
I am also responsible for major procurements (tenders, contracts), recruitment processes, personnel administration, and onboarding.
I facilitate and coordinate meetings and conferences – including the Centre’s annual retreat and our international Training Course – and serve as coordinator for the PhD course, the MR basic course, and related educational activities.

Cooperation and dissemination

I work closely with the Centre’s management and a wide range of administrative units across AU and AUH, including HR, finance, procurement, and pharmaceutical services.
I ensure that space is created for input and knowledge sharing, supporting constructive collaboration across the organization.
This is also reflected in my engagement in various organizational functions: Deputy Chair of the Local Liaison Committee (LSU), union representative for AC-TAP (DM), member of the Competence Committee at the Department of Clinical Medicine, and Chair of the department’s staff association, CLICK.
