Research

Lasse Sommer Kristensen leads The Laboratory for Gene-Regulatory Mechanisms in Cancer, which was recently established at the Department of Biomedicine at Aarhus University to explore the interplay between genetics, epigenetics, and non-coding RNAs in the development and progression of cancer and other human diseases. In particular, we explore the functional roles and clinical potential of a newly described type of RNA; the circular RNAs. See: https://biomed.au.dk/kristensen-lab
