As a PhD student, I research on Dilated Cardiomyopathy, a heart disease. The main part of my job actitivities consists in laboratory experiments. I am also part of the  Cardiovascular Network Steering Committee, which I have helped to organize meetings and events. I have a Master Degree’s in Biomedical Sciences, and previous experience in immunology and virology, such as HIV and COVID-19. 

Job responsibilities

My primary area of responsibility is lab experiments including design and conduct. I focus on western blot, immunohistochemistry, cloning and cell culture and transfection. I take courses to improve my management, writing, and presentation skills.

I also contribute to the grant raising, and I managed to collect almost 400.000kr for the past 2 years.  

I have also been teaching lab experiments to either students I have been supervising in our lab, or bachelor students.
