Vidensgrundlag i en professionsbacheloruddannelse

Research output: Contribution to journal/Conference contribution in journal/Contribution to newspaperJournal articleCommunication

Starting point of the article is the new title bachelor of professions and the
difference between an education as a bachelor of professions and a university
education as a bachelor. Some reflections upon what it means that training as a
nurse shall be attached to research work and based on processes of development are presented. The article points out that nursing is based on a wide foundation of knowledge drawn from natural science, the humanities, social science as well as medical science, and establishes the fact that maintaining the students’ comprehension of this context and of the need for nursing science to have a proper tradition of research including all three types of research, i.e. basic research, applied science and development research, will be a challenge for the basic education.
