I did my BS Computer Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Islamabad Pakistan in 2010 and joined Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department, CUI Islamabad as a Research Associate in May 2011 and was subsequently promoted to Lecturer in 2014. I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering from ECE Department, CUI Islamabad in Feb 2020 whereby a part of my research was carried out at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, New York USA during Jan - July 2018. Subsequently, I worked at CUI Islamabad as an Assistant Professor till July 2022 and recently joined Aarhus University Denmark as a Postdoc. My research interests include signal and image processing using multiscale and multi-component time-frequency (T-F) signal decomposition. My recent research focuses on the design of multivariate signals processing techniques for noise removal and machine fault diagnosis. In addition, I am also interested in machine learning and its applications in computer aided medical diagnosis in particular and signal and image processing in general.
