Personal profile

Research

I work in the field of Electromicrobiology, which investigates how microorganisms can generate current. I have worked on the fundamentals of electron transfer in electroactive microbes for developing applications in biosensing and bioremediation. In my current role, I study filamentous cable bacteria and long distance electron transfer.

Profile

I am currently a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Electromicrobiology at Aarhus University. I am interested in studying how microbes interact electrically with their environments. I also enjoy science communication and outreach.
