Research
My research focuses on topics within sociodialectology, language variation and language change, traditional dialects, dialectorthographies and (dialect) lexicography, which I among other things have communicated in Tænkepausen Jysk. In addition, I am interested in the relationship (and especially the discrepancy) between written and spoken language, language standardization, language policy(s), descriptive and prescriptive aspects of Danish, and certain grammatical issues.
Teaching
I teach allmost all linguistic BA and KA subjects on the Nordic programme, incl. the didactics of the Danish subject. I supervise in my field of research, but I am open to interesting and innovative project ideas.
