Research
My main research interest is tritrophic interactions between ants, plants and plants’ natural enemies with an emphasis on how basic research knowledge from these interactions can be applied to develop sustainable plant protection and to utilize ants for additional ecosystem services (nutrient cycling to plants and production of edible protein biomass). This include elucidation of the mechanisms operating behind these interactions.
