Jesper N. Wulff (JW) is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics  (ECON), Aarhus University. He holds a PhD (2015) in Economics and Business and an MA in Business Administration (2011) both from Aarhus University. He also holds an MA (with distinction) in Social Science Data Analysis (2016) from the University of Essex. Previously, he has been a visiting scholar at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and an exchange student at Freie Universität Berlin. At the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, he has received three best paper awards (2015, 2 x 2018), the Carlo Masini Award (2018), and been a finalist for several others. His teaching interests involve Bayesian Data Analysis and Data Mining for Business Decisions. For his teaching efforts, JW has been awarded the Aarhus BSS Lecturer of the Year Award (2018).  

JW is a research methodologist focusing on identifying flaws or weaknesses associated with current practices in strategic management research and subsequently to improve the methodological rigor of future studies. JW also works with colleagues on statistical and machine learning problems in finance, management and health. His research has been published in journals such as Organizational Research Methods and Academy of Management Discoveries.
