Personal profile

Research

My research primarily focuses on improving forensic chemical investigations, with a particular emphasis on forensic toxicology. This is achieved by developing new analytical methods within forensic chemistry, identifying new markers of substance use that are otherwise difficult to detect, and extracting and compiling information based on forensic chemical data.

Profile

As a researcher, operations manager, and forensic chemist, I have a strong interest in providing, improving, and developing forensic chemical investigations for the police. My work specifically focuses on forensic toxicological investigations, and I have a solid background in the analysis of pharmaceuticals and narcotics within healthcare. Since 2010, I have been working with forensic chemistry, where I have gained extensive experience in the field.

Commissioned

Based on my research and experience in case management, I advise police investigators on specific cases and assist authorities in adapting and implementing new legislation related to forensic chemistry. I also serve as an expert witness in court and as an ad hoc consultant for the National Forensic Council.

Job responsibilities

My primary area of responsibility is forensic chemistry, including forensic toxicology, and I am the operations manager of the forensic chemistry laboratory. I conduct forensic chemistry research and also contribute with advice to various authorities.
