Design, development and implementation of the marine modelling system FlexSem (http://marweb.bios.au.dk/FlexSem). Derivation of the numerical discretization of the Navier-Stokes equations and design and implementation of the parallelized c++ code for the solution. The model system also includes modules for pelagic and bethic bio-geochemistry, sediment transport, agent based modelling etc.
