Mette Trier Damgaard is an Associate Professor of Economics. Her research is in the area of Applied behavioral economics with a focus on applications in punlic economics and labor economics. She is also interested in both intended and unintended effects of "nudging" interventions. Mette has a PhD from the Department of Economics and Business, Aarhus University. She also holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Aarhus University. She has previously worked at the economics consultancy firm London Economics where she led projects across many different areas and for both public and private sector clients. As head of London Economics' Consumer Behaviour and Protection team, Mette among other things applied behavioural and experimental economics to analyse consumer markets and interventions in these markets
