Hartanto Wijaya Wong is Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University. He holds a PhD in Industrial Management from Katholieke Universitet Leuven (KUL) in Belgium (2004).
Research
Hartanto's primary research focus lies in operations and supply chain management, utilizing a business analytics approach. His research encompasses a variety of topics, including spare parts inventory systems with an emphasis on lateral transshipments, mass customization, product line design, integrated sales and operations planning, and supply chain network design. More recently, his work has increasingly concentrated on supply chain resilience and sustainability.
Teaching
Hartanto has been teaching various courses including Supply Chain Design & Management and Applied Modelling in Operations and Supply Chains. In addition, he supervises students at Bachelor’s and Master’s level on various topics related to operations and supply chain management.
