Personal profile

Profile

My research primarily focuses on infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on protozoa and the pathogenicity and control of gastrointestinal parasites. I use One Health approaches, in vitro models, and experimental infections of rodents, pigs, ruminants, and horses to investigate parasite transmission and disease. Additionally, I explore the interactions between the host, pathogens, diet, and microbiota, and study foodborne zoonoses. Finally, I am involved in the development of novel antiparasiticides.
