Personal profile

Cooperation and dissemination

I have been engaged in the development of the particle accelerator of the European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden since the beginning of the project.

Teaching

I teach the annual master-level course in Accelerator and Detector physics. I have previously been engaged in developing and teaching in a talent track for undergrad physics students.

Job responsibilities

I develop and operate Denmark's largest particle accelerator, the ASTRID2 facility, where a beam of electrons are kept circulating close to the speed of light. Synchrotron radiation - intense short-wave radiation - is hereby emitted. The continuous spectrum, from infrared to soft X-rays (including visible light) is used for interdisciplinary experiments.

I am radiation safety officer and responsible for the radiation generators at the institute.

I am head of the electronics workshop at the institute.
