Competence

Animal production, nutrition and nutritional physiology of farm animals. Metabolism of nutrients with main focus on mineral availability, requirements, excretion, and utilization in farm animals.

Teaching MSc and BSc students in agro-ecology and animal nutrition and production with focus on environmental impacts. Supervisor for several PhD and MSc students.

Public Sector consultant on the utilization of phosphorus, nitrogen, zinc, copper etc. in Danish livestock production and nutrient content of manure (Ministries and ministerial authorities.

Management and project leading skills from a number of granted projects and as head of research unit.
