Profile

I am a medical doctor and PhD student at the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, where I conduct research on the treatment and diagnosis of Wilson’s disease. My primary supervisor is Thomas Damgaard Sandahl.

Research

I am a clinical researcher focusing on copper metabolism and the mechanisms of action of drugs used to treat Wilson’s disease. In my PhD project, I investigate the use of ⁶⁴Copper-PET as a tool to better understand the disease and evaluate new treatment strategies.

Teaching

I teach medical students at both undergraduate and graduate levels, primarily in pharmacology, introduction to research, and learning techniques.

Job responsibilities

My primary area of responsibility is research in Wilson's Disease, including 64-copper PET studies. I also work with the diagnosis of Wilson's Disease and teaching.
