Personal profile

Research

My research interests lie in the characterization of physiological and pathophysiological processes that involve aquaporin (AQP) water channels. I focus primarily on the mechanisms that regulate AQP2 cellular trafficking in the kidney which are critical for maintaining the body’s water balance. I also investigate the role of AQPs in cancer biology.
