My research investigates the underlying mechanisms of chronic orofacial pain with two main focus areas:

1) Mechanisms of referred pain
2) Headache and orofacial pain mechanisms

Profile

I am an Assistant Professor specializing in orofacial pain. My academic work focuses on chronic pain mechanisms, referred pain, and the intersection between temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and primary headaches. In my clinical practice, I work exclusively with patients suffering from chronic orofacial pain.  With extensive experience in research, teaching, and clinical practice, I am committed to advancing knowledge in the field and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
