Dr. Evergren's research aims to uncover how adaptations in membrane trafficking and inter-organelle membrane contact sites contribute to cancer progression, with the ultimate goal of identifying new therapeutic strategies and improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Evergren's research is focussed on membrane trafficking and inter-organelle membrane contact sites in the field of cancer cell biology. Dr. Evergren received her PhD from Karolinska Institute, Sweden, in 2006. Subsequently she joined the lab of Dr. Harvey McMahon at MRC-LMB in Cambridge for postdoctoral training. She holds a Honorary Seniour Lectureship at Queen's University Belfast. 

Job responsibilities

My main area of responsibility is research in the area of cancer cell biology. I also teach undergraduate students and have experience with teaching cell biology and clinical biochemistry.
