1995 - 2007: 8 completed PhD studies, 2 on-going PhD studies and 12 MSc students

International collaborations:

Participated in a several international collaborations, especially several EU funded European multicenter studies on congenital toxoplasmosis and study on genetic determinant for T. gondii eye disease. These studies have included more than thirty centres in the EU and US.

Editorial work:

1997 - co-editor for ProMED (www.promedmail.org), responsible for tropical medicine. ProMED is an electronic newservice provided by the International Society for Infectious Diseases (Harward, Boston) aiming a rapid publication of suspected disease outbreaks.

2010 - co-editor for Journal of Clinical Microbiology responsible for parasitic infections, published by the American Society for Clinical Microbiology.
