My current and future research focusses on metaphor, historical, and literary references in political discourse. I am also working on various projects investigating the voices of political communicators in crisis.
Job responsibilities
My responsibilities include teaching history, society and culture (HSC)-related subjects in the English (BA and MA) and Intercultural Studies (ICS) MA degree programmes. I am also the teaching coordinator for HSC courses in the English degree programmes and the coordinator for the Project Placement (internship) course in both the English MA and ICS MA progammes.
