Personal profile
Profile
The main focus of my work is to gain insight into the development and support of university teachers and supervisors, with a particular emphasis on the context of health sciences education. I am especially interested in how social and cultural factors in the university environment influence how academics perceive and make sense of the teaching role. I hold a Master’s degree in Learning and Innovative Change and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science from Aalborg University.
Job responsibilities
My research focuses on teacher identity formation among academics and how they navigate the complex context of academia. I use qualitative research methods and specialize in solicited audio diaries and qualitative interviews.
In addition, I teach instructors and student teachers to support and assist them with their initial teaching experiences.
