Profile
I am interested in understanding human behaviour, learning, and culture from an evolutionary perspective. My background is in linguistics, artificial intelligence, and biology, and I have used theoretical and large-scale experimental approaches to study the population-level dynamics and individual-level factors that drive cultural change and innovation in the domain of language, technology, and norms. I am currently working on questions related to the role of children learning and play for innovation in material culture.
