The Strategic Positioning Matrix Materials examines the best way to purchase materials from the evaluation of suppliers to obtain competitive advantage by adding value to the business. Develops resources that enable a more careful approach to the suppliers elimi-nated excesses related to the purchase of stocks that generate cost and thus promoting the growth of the market always getting good results the company. Considers the effective management of purchased inputs for your stock extremely important as it directly impact the bottom line of the organization, based on this ideal article contextualizes the theory relating to the practice in order to present the Strategic Positioning Matrix Materials in an active industry in the food branch of a company located in the Metropolitan Region. From the results obtained we can see the Matrix Strategic Positioning of materials adds value to the organization bringing a location parameter of the items before the negotiation and thus can be worked and developed to improve processes seeking ways to get a better perfor-mance on the inserted market.
