As a statistician, I work closely with epidemiologists and clinicians to design studies that effectively address their research questions. I am responsible for managing the data, performing statistical analyses, and interpreting the results. My work mainly involves cohort studies, with a focus on evaluating cancer risk across different patient groups. I have a particular interest in studying the prognostic value of the Charlson comorbidity score in breast cancer patients.

Job responsibilities

I work in close collaboration with epidemiologists, clinicians, and fellow statisticians on a range of health research projects. I am involved throughout the entire research process—from the initial planning phase to the publication of results in peer-reviewed journals. My responsibilities include managing data from national health registries, conducting advanced statistical analyses such as regression models and survival analyses, and interpreting the findings to support evidence-based conclusions.
