Siden november 2024 professor emerita (retsodontologi). Over 40 års tilknytning til det retsodontologiske fagområde. Primære fagfelt: retsodontologisk identifikationsfastlæggelse på omkomne med ukendt eller usikker identitet. Siden 2009 retsodontologisk fagekspert i Politets ledelse af det nationale identifikationsberedskab.
Ledende specialtandlæge i Silkeborg Kommunale Tandpleje.
Frem til 2019 tilknyttet IOOS, AU (Tandlægeskolen), senest som leder af Den Højtspecialiserede Behandlingsenhed.
