Christian is a Ph.D. fellow on the project Transformative Learning of Student Veterans in Transition into Education and a teacher in General Education and Education Science.

His research focuses on student veterans' (re)integration and transition processes. He uses focus group and narrative interview data, as well as documentary method and transformative learning theory.

Additionally, he manages DPU’s reading group on the Armed Forces and its veterans, which is open to all DPU students.
