Research

Christian T. Elbæk's research focuses on how resource scarcity and economic inequality influences various forms of judgment and decision-making with a specific focus on (1) financial decisions and (2) moral judgment and decision-making.  

Christian leads the AUFF NOVA project Understanding (mis)perceptions of economic inequality as way to reduce it, which investigates how specific cognitive biases might hinder people’s understanding of economic inequality and resistance to wealth redistribution.

Teaching

Christian T. Elbæk teaches various courses related to his field of expertise. These include, but are not limited to: Behavioral Economics (BSc-level), Moral Psychology & Business Ethics (BSc-level), Judgment & Decision-Making (MSc-level), and Hands-on training in Open Science (PhD-level).

Christian supervises Bachelor's and Master's theses on topics such as Behavioural Economics, Moral Psychology, Nudging and Leadership Psychology.
