Project manager for collection of blood samples to Bio- and Genome Bank Denmark in Central Denmark Region.

Educated biologist with a PhD in molecular biology from Aarhus University in 2001. 

Previously as a researcher I have worked with murine retrovirology, cell adhesion to biomaterials and molecular changes in cancer cells.

 

Job responsibilities

I am responsible for collecting blood samples for several clinical biobanks in RBGB – Danish Cancer Biobank, Danish Rheumatology Biobank and Danish Covid-19 Biobank. The biobank  works to secure material for the citizen's own diagnosis and treatment and to support Danish research.

I collaborate with researchers, clinical - and blood sampling departments at the hospitals on the collection and delivery of the samples and with the biobank's national secretariat on the operation and development of the biobank.
