Research

My Ph.D. project is about obesity and cancer. The project is divided into three work packages (WP). In WP1 and WP2, I use registry-based data from the Health in Central Denmark cohort to investigate the effect of obesity and particularly mental health on participation in cancer screening and the timing of cancer diagnosis. WP3 consists of workshops where people with obesity and healthcare professionals are invited to develop prevention strategies for communicating about obesity and cancer risk.
