Research

Louise Bøttcher's research focuses on the impact of social, educational and pedagogical conditions for the development and learning of children and youth with disabilities, especially  cerebral palsy and communicative impairments. At present, her research explores how Universal Design for Learning can be realised in higher education.

Cooperation and dissemination

Louise Bøttcher is Bevica Fellow 2023-2024 and member of the Bevica Universal Design Alumni Network.

She coorperates with researchers from Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen and Centre for children's literature and media, Aarhus University.

Louise Bøttcher has a research cooperation with the Elsassfoundation, among others.

Teaching

Louise Bøttcher teaches mainly in Educational Psychology, Cultural-Historical Theory, Neuropsychology and Educational Psychological Assessment at Master's level.
