PhD project

My PhD project dealt with getting a better understanding of how stakeholders of projects in the Healthcare Sector understand their systems – and how this understanding changes over time – to add to our understanding of the environment in which large information systems are implemented.

It is in this question my PhD project took its starting point and where my curiosity drove me: “How do different stakeholders understand a procurement of large and complex information systems, and how does this understanding develop over time?”

Even though the healthcare sector and hence HIS, was the domain of this research, the results can be applied in other types of complex information system projects - also in other domains.
