Personal profile

Research

I am conducting research on cardiovascular disease with particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery stenosis. Using clinical studies, I investigate novel methods for the physiological assessment of stenosis severity prior to treatment. My research contributes to ensuring that patients with coronary artery disease are diagnosed and treated accurately, in the least invasive, simplest and most cost-effective manner—without compromising clinical outcomes.

Profile

As a postdoc, I conduct research on cardiovascular diease. I am currently working with reporting of data from a large clinical trial comparing two methods for physiological assesment of coronary artery stenosis. I am a medical doctor and PhD, and my current roles include clinical trial management, data processing and reporting, research dissemination, and supervision of research year students.

Job responsibilities

My primary area of responsibility is research in cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on the functional assessment of coronary artery disease. This includes, among other tasks, the analysis and reporting of data from the randomised clinical trial for which I served as lead investigator during my PhD. I also contribute to the supervision of junior researchers.
