Behzad Partoon is an assistant professor and researcher, working on the Power to X and carbon capture technologies. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in chemical engineering (gas) from Persian Gulf University and the Shiraz University of Technology. He completed his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering at the PETRONAS University of Technology working on CO2 separation by gas hydrate technology. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at CO2 Research Center of PETRONAS University of Technology. He is an experimental researcher and mostly works on high TRL (4-7) projects. His research expertise and interests are gas hydrate, power to X, phase equilibria, process simulation, thermodynamic modelling, CO2 capture, CO2 utilization and hydrogen production.
