Research

In my research, I focus on the following topics:

• The social networks of immigrants. With a particular emphasis on their relationships with ethnic majority members.
• Immigrants' integration and citizenship. Including: participation in politics and civic society, and participation on the labour market.
• More generally, I am interested in:
  • the importance of friendships and other social relationships for the well-being and success of individuals
  • socialisation and political sociology.

My supervisors are Rune Stubager and Kristina Bakkær Simonsen.
