Personal profile

Research

We explore properties of quantum many-body systems. We are particularly interested in topological effects, such as anyons in the fractional quantum Hall effect and chiral edge states. We also study deviations from thermalization, such as quantum many-body scars. Finally, we investigate quantum models on non-periodic structures, such as quasicrystals and fractals. For more information see our group home page.

Teaching

I teach quantum physics, statistical physics, and student colloquium. I supervise postdocs, PhD students, master students, and bachelor students.
