Personal profile

Research

The key thematic thread in my research is to explore the constitutive powers of communication in relation to the topics of sustainable transitions and (digital) corporate communication. I explore processes of meaning construction, involving different actors, contributing insights of the ways in which we collectively construct social reality. This is important, because such constructions influence and shape intentions, priorities, and behaviour among different actors in society.

Teaching

I have more than 15 years of teaching experience at bachelor's, master's, and PhD levels. My teaching is typically grounded in communication studies and qualitative methods but often focuses on interdisciplinary perspectives and issues. I place great emphasis on creating an engaging learning environment that encourages critical reflection.

Job responsibilities

Deputy Head of Department at Department of Business Development and Technology. Director of studies for the MSc. in it, communication, and organization (ITKO). The study programme is grounded in an interdisciplinary philosophy with a strong focus on integrating the three core disciplines of it, communication, and organization.
