Jeg har en PhD i religionsvidenskab og er nu PostDoc ved Afdeling for Religionsvidenskab, Aarhus Universitet. I min PhD-afhandling 'Understanding the Scandinavian Paradox – An Interdisciplinary Investigation of Nonreligion and Cultural Religion in a Danish Context' forskede jeg via en interdisciplinær tilgang i moderne majoritetsdanskeres (non)religiøsitet og kulturkristne identitet særligt med fokus på at undersøge, hvordan de skaber identitet og mening. 

Jeg er for nuværende ansat på projektet 'Religious Communities in a Virtual Age', hvor jeg forsker i forholdet mellem religion og digitalisering. Videre er jeg også tilknyttet de to projekter 'Explaining Nordic Atheism' og 'Banal (Non)religion: Secular Imaginaries in Contemporary Pop-Culture'. I begge projekter er mine partnere og jeg interesserede i at forstå moderne former for nonreligion i de Nordiske lande.

Jeg holder gerne foredrag og giver interviews om non(religion) i Danmark og Norden, om kulturkristendom, Folkekirken, moderne former for ateisme og humanisme samt religion og dansk politik.
